ArtMajeur X Kiaf Seoul

ArtMajeur is a partner of Kiaf SEOUL, which will celebrate its 25th anniversary from September 2 to 6, 2026, at COEX in Seoul. 175 galleries from 18 countries and territories will come together for this leading art fair in the Asian art scene.

Kuho Jung

For its anniversary edition, Kiaf SEOUL is breaking new ground by appointing Kuho Jung as its artistic director—the first external director in the fair’s history. A renowned designer, former executive director of Seoul Fashion Week, and founder of his own brand, he has also created set designs and costumes for major Korean institutions in dance, opera, and the performing arts. In Seoul this year, he is reimagining the fair’s visual identity and spatial layout with a clear goal: to foster a dialogue between contemporary art and other creative disciplines.

Selection of the Trustee

Our curator has curated a new selection of works by ArtMajeur artists. From Chagall’s biblical silhouette of Solomon in prayer to Oswaldo Vigas’s ghostly figures, from Kug Kyungoh’s reclining bronze figures to Takeru Amano’s enigmatic young woman in *Venus & Cat*, each work depicts a solitary body confronting its environment, whether sacred, dreamlike, or everyday. A dialogue across generations that extends through the treatment of gesture and material, from European Expressionism to contemporary Korean and international art.
